Yous tin can't run into "Condom Manner" by simply looking at the stuff on the phone. How to get into "Safe Mode" is as follows... some things may be named a tad unlike on your phone, just it will give yous a good thought...

To get into "Prophylactic Mode" please do the following.

ane. First turn off the phone.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until y'all see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the ability push button.

three. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and concur it for few seconds until you see the bulletin "Safe fashion: ON" or something like.

four. If you wanted disable information technology, simply repeat the steps above, and y'all should run across "Safety Mode: OFF" rather than on.

Every bit to the other, you accept to become into "Settings" on your phone. Which usually is a little gear icon. In settings locate the "Apps" department. When you enter that, you lot are looking for the "All" or "All Apps" section and then locate the "Messaging" app in the list of applications. Tap that once and it should open to a screen that has buttons for things like "Move to SD Card" (which will probably be grayed out) "Clear Data" and "Articulate Cache". Or similar titles.

Well it could be an app on the phone, specially if the text messages are through an app other than the cellphones normal text messaging app. If they don't terminate then you lot can try a couple of things.

First affair I would do is clear the messaging apps enshroud. Go into the phones "Settings", the tap "Apps". Curlicue (usually correct) and locate the "All" or "All Apps" section. Now locate the "Messaging" app and tap it to open the info. On this next screen you should see an option for "Clear Enshroud". Tap that. Then restart the phone and run across if the messages continue.

Second, endeavor restarting the phone in "Safe Manner" and go out it that for a while. Practice the letters still testify up or do they stop?

If information technology stops occurring when in "Safe Way" so you lot have some app or virus on the phone that is causing the repeating.

Tertiary, if they go along showing up, then it probably isn't an issue with the device. your carrier/service provider and you should contact them as there is probably a glitch happening on their end.

Cheers for your quick response. I really appreciate your taking the time to help me. All the same, I can'd observe anything on my Alcatel One Touch called "Clear Cache" or anything remotely similar; I checked the entire telephone. I don't have a "Safe Mode" option on this phone; I looked everywhere for this every bit well. I'm going to take your advice and call Tracfone and explain my problem with the repeat text letters. Bet yous're right -- information technology's probably on their end. Thanks once again!
